I know I probably sound like a broken record but I seriously CANNOT believe it’s virtually the end of April. This year is really flying by! I honestly don’t remember a year that has gone as quickly as this one. Some moments in your life just feel speedy I guess? Well since it’s the end of the month an April Recap is in order. Here’s what happened both on the interwebs and off!
This month we spent a lot of time in Minnesota – all but the last week. It was great to spend time with family and friends! I got hooked on Alchemy 365 workouts and will be going every time I’m back in the Twin Cities. It’s such a unique workout and is extremely challenging. Don’t believe that only 10 minutes of activity can be killer? Go check it out and see for yourself!
I picked up this black dress (full post here) and I’m already wearing it all the time. I also got this black off the shoulder top – so basic and perfect for summer – and this blue version. I love them both and they’re on heavy repeat as well! Of course I had to get another chambray top (the addiction is real…) and this top is super cute. Last but not least I picked up this white eyelet one shoulder top and I love it! I tried it on once before and wasn’t sold, but at my second time to LOFT (oh it was 50% off the second time…) I decided to take a risk and get it. Well I love it and it’s so worth it! Oh how could I forget that we bought a house the first weekend of April?!?! We still haven’t closed or moved yet, and it feels like the visit was a lifetime ago since now all we do is paperwork! Wish us luck for a smooth closing and move. I’m already getting the itch to pack everything but I need to wait for a month! You can read some of my first moving posts here, here, and here.
Also as I’m sitting here typing I can smell the most amazing flowering trees outside! I love Spring! Flowers & flowering trees are my favorite things. I do love winter – it’s my favorite season still! – but spring is such a great relief after the dark.
I wanted to finish with a random list of some things I’m loving right now and have been on my radar recently –
- I’m really becoming addicted to watching beauty videos on YouTube! I love watching them when I get ready or when I’m folding laundry, etc. My favorite YouTubers are Tati & Alexandrea Garza.
- I just ordered these earrings in white and pink – I can’t believe they’re only $10!?!?!?! I am so excited for them to get here!
- I just decorated my planner for May (nerd I know) and these are my favorite planner stickers!
Tomorrow we have a BBQ with some of my husband’s classmates and hopefully the rain will hold off! Enjoy this last weekend of April!
