My new job definitely has a different dress code than my previous job, and it’s been super fun to experiment with my work outfits! I’ve moved away from pencil skirts (which I still LOVE!) to cute tops and basic pants. So I challenged myself to take a photo of my outfit every day last week to share with all of you here! All these items are pieces I wear over and over again and form the foundation of my wardrobe. PSA: I work in an Advertising Agency so we are DEFINITELY not a formal office. Just keep that in mind for the below 🙂

Monday: Vest // Shirt // Pants // Shoes (similar) // Purse
This outfit is basically the same as my summer workwear post but with my favorite utility vest! It looks sooooo good with every outfit (I think so at least). You can’t really tell in this photo but I had my hair in a cute twist in back also! Also I’ve had this purse for 8 years and I think it’s time for a new work bag…..it’s really taken a beating between college and work!
Tuesday: Top // Pants // Similar Shoes
Sorry if you saw this post in last week’s post but it’s so fun and I got so many compliments wearing it! You really don’t need flashy accessories when you have a statement top like this. It’s so easy to wear with simple black pants – or even jeans! I had a client meeting that day and it was perfect for looking cute and polished at the same time.
Wednesday: Jean Jacket // Dress
Another easy and cute outfit! I love my jean jacket and wear it once a week. This dress is super comfy and it basically feels like wearing PJs all day! I even wear it into the fall with leggings and boots – olive is such a versatile color.
Ok so EVERYONE wore their white jeans on Thursday – seriously, so many people did! I would see more people each time I walked around the office wearing white denim. I really have to force myself to wear it – it doesn’t come naturally to grab my white jeans – but I do love when I have them on! Plus they were under $30 from Old Navy – a great price for a trendy item.
I love this top – SUCH a good purchase! I was on the fence about tie front tops but this is cute and not un-flattering. I also love navy (obviously) so this was a perfect Friday outfit.
Every office has different dress codes, so all these outfits might not work for you – but I hope this glimpse into my work outfits was helpful! I’m really trying to wear more items from my closet to work and not fall into outfit ruts….we’ll see how that goes 🙂 Wish me luck!
