If I said my favorite new accessory for summer 2017 is a boater hat, would you believe me? Well I can’t believe I’m saying this but it is! I got this hat as a total impulse purchase and I have worn it soooo much more than I expected.

The bad news is that is keeps selling out SUPER fast on Nordstrom. Like stocked for one day, gone the next. So if you want it I would check back often and buy when you can! It’s a timeless style so you can definitely wear it for summers to come!
Of course I had to style it with another favorite summer purchase – this $39 peplum top, also from Nordstrom. I even have a whole post about the top here! I have to stop myself from wearing this outfit every weekend day…..bordering on serious outfit repeater territory! So don’t judge me if you’re in Lexington and see someone with this outfit – it’s probably me!
Since I’m loving this hat so much I’m considering getting a hat for fall. They’re so easy to throw on and make a basic outfit cuter! I also love how they hide dirty/greasy hair – bonus for sure!
