When I was thinking about outfits to shoot for the blog I realized I had one top that I’d shared a lot on Instagram but never put in a post! It’s this tie front top and I’m wearing it alllll the time. In the past I wasn’t sure tie-front tops would be flattering (and the ones I tried weren’t). But then I got this one and my mind has changed!
The great part about this top? You can 100% wear it into fall and winter! Add a cardigan and it’s perfect for the weekend. The tie gives a perfect level of detail and makes it a bit “different” than just a T-Shirt!
I’m ready for some cooler temps and to wear jeans all the time – but not yet I guess! Also it was SO HOT shooting these pictures…the sun was beating down so we did these fast. I will be happy for some cooler temps for sure!
Do you guys have any fun weekend plans? My husband is off tomorrow so I think we’re going to drive to the Red River Gorge to hike! He went for a work retreat but I’ve never been and so many of my coworkers rave about it. Apparently we have to stop at Miguel’s Pizza after our hike!
I’m really trying to make our days off together fun and memorable – and this fits the bill! One of my strategies for residency so far has been to do all the ugly chores/housework on days that he isn’t off. That way we can focus on hanging out when we’re both off!
