My husband has a really bad schedule this month, but we were able to head out on Wednesday for a date night!
We went to our favorite spot, Carson’s, which never disappoints. It was too dark to take pictures before or after dinner, so I recreated the outfit and hit the road with my handy tripod to snap some.

Our OB recommended we get on as many date nights as possible before baby, and we’ve tried to go on at least one a month. Sometimes I wonder if we should just stay home and make something…but getting out of the house is always good! It gives us a chance to have a conversation without our phones, random things we need to do, and other distractions.
Also this jacket – such a great investment piece! I’ve shared it a multiple times on the blog because it’s just that good (here and here). It’s such an easy way to “make” a basic outfit.
We don’t have anything exciting going on this week, and I’m 100% ok with that! I’m enjoying my nights at home – especially since “nesting” has taken hold. I really just want to spend time cleaning and organizing at home! Watching Tidying Up on Netflix definitely has spurred me to do more 🙂
